While reporting to the Department Manager, you will be responsible for Assisting Press Operators to maintain the work flow and work quality on assigned press runs. Bring materials for press set-ups to press sites.
Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to read work orders, etc. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Perform complex operations required to set up, operate and feed cylinder type printing press to produce a variety of items.
- Set-up jobs with assistance in the press and monitor the quality of the print.
- Responsible for quality and safety of set-up and safe operational procedures.
- Performing all duties in support of Sonoco's quality and safety policies.

- We expect you to be Sonoco mission driven
- Press Wide Web Flexotechnica experience a plus.
- You have to have a "get it done" attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
- To succeed in this role, you will need good written and verbal communication skills
- You will need to be able to lift up to 50-60 lbs. as needed.
- Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is important to success.
