Responsibilities



The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination of clinical operational workflow; both clinical and related administrative activities to ensure the provision of high-quality care. Demonstrates clinical proficiency in current practice and knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice. The Nurse Manager oversees the clinical staff and has a strong foundation in finance, operations and personnel management. Hires, manages and evaluates the non-physician clinical staff at the site. Works closely with physicians, advanced care practitioners, Practice Manager and clinical staff to ensure efficient operations that maximize physician productivity while rendering quality patient care. Works with the Director of Physician Practices to maintain efficient, high quality care. The Nurse Manager shall also be able to multitask and possess excellent internal and external customer service skills while consistently adhering to the hospital core values.



Qualifications




Education Requirements


  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Non-Nursing Bachelor's degree with a MSN or Doctoral degree in Nursing

Experience

  • Relevant Experience

Certification and Licensure

  • PA Registered Nurse License

  • ACLS Certification

  • CPR Certification
