This is a Software Engineering role within Home Lending Servicing Technology, supporting the Tax & Escrow development team. The candidate will be responsible for helping support and maintain existing systems, working on on-going projects to create new features and functionality for our business partners, as well as leading upcoming projects to modernize the application portfolio into newer and current technology stacks. Candidate will act individually and within a team by providing application engineering and support, system maintenance, application deployment, and design guidance and consultation utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Develops new or maintains existing documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Works within a team and often independently across projects, allocates and collaborates effectively with team resources and may coordinate task oversight of small to medium sized projects. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

Salary range is determined by the location of the job

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000

May be considered for a discretionary bonus

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of Agile experience
  • 2+ years of Java experience
  • 2+ years of JavaScript development experience
  • 3 + years of experience with Agile tools
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Fortify Code Analyzer experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): code control, build and deployment
  • 1+ year of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)
  • 2+ years of Agile experience
  • 3+ years of JIRA experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
  • Experience with automation, regression, and performance testing
  • 1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An industry-standard technology certification
