This position will act as a senior software engineer and solution provider defining technology solutions for a number of Lending Sales java based applications. Position will work with Business partners and Systems Architects from multiple business lines in understanding the business problems, high level architecture & Technology Road Map and on providing next level of technology solution and implementation activities. Position will serve as the senior level solution delivery consultant to internal team members and technical management to ensure conformity with architecture and business guidelines.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities:
  • Continuous awareness of business operations and contributions to the ongoing business and operations needs, from a systems perspective.
  • Application detailed design, capability delivery and maintenance of multiple applications to insure they remain complaint and met standards set by management for system design and platform support.
  • High level and detailed design planning of technology and business event integration, crossing multiple functional areas like sales and marketing, and including system to system integration linking multiple internal services and systems.
  • Hands-on high level and detailed design and development support for solution delivery, including activities such as design and planning support for project phases, integration and application design, and day to day interaction with business, developers, systems architects and technology.
  • Position will also work with Cloud Support and Infrastructure teams on capacity planning, infrastructure needs (servers, network, firewall rules, Data Services Group, etc.), Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Configuration and tuning of environments, tech refreshes and audit/compliance changes are also supported by this position.

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000 Max: $201,500
IA-West Des Moines: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000 Max: $201,500

** May be considered for a discretionary bonus

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 7+ years of J2EE experience
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools

Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in one or a combination of the following: Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members and management
