This senior product manager role is responsible for overall product management and strategy for merchant solutions for various markets and customer segments, both domestic and international. This role will play a key part in developing competitive and industry analysis, marketing strategies, and executing launch for new and enhanced products. This person will work directly with senior stakeholders across the business to collaborate and contribute to the future product vision for multiple product solutions.
This exciting new role is a self-directed and experienced individual contributor; you will drive timely and successful execution of product strategy initiatives and business-as-usual activities. In this role you will be expected to gain a thorough understanding of Wells Fargo Merchant Services product capabilities and will collaborate with cross functional internal and external team to support customer needs and strategic initiative deliverables. This role may also play a key part in developing competitive and industry analysis, along with business metric analysis. The role will work with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary.
Lead execution of the product road map, launch enhancements or new commercialization initiatives within your responsibility (may be necessary to develop business requirements and drive project execution and implementation and recommend enhancements) in partnership with key stakeholders, and partner organizations while adhering to compliance / privacy and risk policies.
Identify opportunities, summarize benefit analysis, and present to leadership team to gain consensus, set priorities, and secure resources.
Provides leadership to project teams; identifies project goals, objectives, deliverables, constraints and issues; monitors completion of tasks to ensure that project goals are achieved; demonstrating ability to work tactically to drive multiple, simultaneous initiatives to completion. May participate in or lead cross-functional projects.
Develops metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of products, services, and initiatives.
Engages program / project manager at the appropriate level as defined in the Program/Project Management Policy to guide implementation. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.
Provide product, market, and solution consulting to sales and external customers.
This Business Initiative Consultant/ Product Initiative Consultant will ideally be based in Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC; other locations will be considered on case-by-case basis.
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule:
