Director, HR Project Management and M&A - HR Services

The Honeywell HR Services (HRS) team delivers a portfolio of HR shared services spanning payroll, global mobility, operations and benefits delivery, data analytics, and HR systems and portals, including HR Help, to support Honeywell employees worldwide. The HR Services team is looking for a Director, Project Management and M&A. This dynamic leader will be responsible for leading a global team, while identifying and delivering regional and global projects that deliver on the HRS strategy of innovative automation, productivity and employee experience, and acts as a main point of contact and leader for all merger, acquisition, divestiture and spin related activity globally for the HR Services organization
In this exciting role, you will lead and manage direct and matrixed teams of Program/Project managers, to achieve portfolio program and performance measures, drive budget and schedule constraints, and approve resource requirements and program estimates while leading integrated program teams. This role will coordinate with various internal customers to ensure their requirements are supported in terms of technical performance, schedule, and applicable cost requirements. In addition, this role will proactively develop close partnerships with senior leaders across Honeywell to support program management deliverables and M&A strategy, and effectively lead M&A transactions through the M&A life cycle, starting with due diligence through final integration. This position will partner closely with other HR CoE and business leaders to ensure appropriate collaboration and completion of all objectives to meet Honeywell deliverables and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with Compensation & Benefits COE and external partners to ensure seamless integration of HR M&A activities
Provide coaching to HR integration leaders involved in any M&A project
Establish standard processes from projects to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement and ensure robust controls, change management and follow-up procedures are in place in all projects
Deliver critical HR projects on scope, on budget and on time; achieving significant and measurable savings and growth. (Project budgets vary from ~$50K to $1M+ annually and typically last 4 months to 1+ years)
Manage initiation, execution, and closure of projects according to HR project methodology
Work with Delivery leaders to design the processes that will improve workflow and data quality; Define & operate management system to control assigned projects.
Create clear and attainable project objectives; Build the project requirements including project success measures and proven ROI.
Manage project constraints around cost, time, scope and quality to baseline.
Engage appropriate resources and define/implement change management strategy.
Review project progress with Steering Committee and present in regular MOS reviews.
Identify baseline and measure project benefits
Partner with peers to leverage knowledge and standards to promote consistent, quality deliverables across all projects; proactively manage escalations
YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other applicable discipline.
Minimum 10+ years in Project Management experience with demonstrated experience in supporting HR and/or M&A
WE VALUE Broad M&A experience
Extensive experience or knowledge of the Shared Services Industry, ideally HR Shared Services
Significant Project Management experience and strong strategy deployment experience
Experience leading large programs and demonstrated leadership experience leading global teams
