Achieves successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. You will achieve continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.
Be aware of Honeywell's scope of work and protect financial impact due to changes by supporting and obtaining change orders wherever appropriate Coordination with other trades and Customer/General Contractors/Mechanical Contractors as well as Honeywell engineering Conduct basic system functional testing as required per contract Carry out site hazard and risk assessments for Honeywell tasks, including proper use of safety personal protection equipment. Be responsible for Honeywell assets such as tools, software, and site database. Keep documentation and paperwork up-to-date. Inspect for Quality Install or Repair Work Orders Provide Customer Support
YOU MUST HAVE:
High School Diploma.
Valid driver's license.
1+ years of HVAC Experience.
Associate, Technical college degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
2 years experience in technically related field work in HVAC, fire, security and/or IT.
1 year experience with basic building systems. Programming, PC, and general networking knowledge.
1 year experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet browsers.
Control systems open protocol (BACnet, LON, MODBUS) knowledge.
Experience using productivity tools such as multimeter, wireless PDA, routers, network troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, control systems, mechanical system operation and building facilities.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams.
Previous technical/installation experience.
Previous customer service experience.
Good written and oral communication.
Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes.
