You will be the technical leader and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and technical issues. You will lead a team in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance. Support, train, mentor and coach all employees, engineers, and leaders on Honeywell Accelerator principles, processes, and tools as defined in the Standard Implementation Framework. You will provide tools and processes to the PMT Site leaders and teams and strategize with the business to ensure continued execution and sustainability of the Honeywell Accelerator program. You will work across functions to progress the organization through differing gate reviews and ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.
About the Position. This position is based out of Houston, TX. This role will travel extensively, 60% to 75% of the year. The Honeywell Accelerator (HA) Leader will be working with the Honeywell PMT factories globally to drive high impact projects to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost (SQDIC) performance. This includes identifying the biggest leverage areas across all ISC value streams that will have the greatest impact on the factory performance as well as creating and sharing standards and building capability in ISC. These projects will ensure increased customer experience, employee experience and highest productivity. HA Leader will work closely with manufacturing sites and global Quality leaders to lead from the front to showcase a 'ZERO Defects' culture through various continuous improvement initiatives.
Position Responsibilities. Accountable to partner with site leadership/functions/GBEs to work the most impactful improvements in the Order To cash processes. Align to support key cross-Honeywell efforts in the major process and supporting elements of the Order To Cash process, including (but not limited to) supply base/procurement, planning, C2C, lean excellence and lean leadership Lead a global team of Honeywell Accelerator members. Deploy the team standard process to make targeted improvements (site specific, function specific or focused Kaizen) and refine based on lessons learned Achieve results through a combination of implementing, teaching, coaching, influencing and sharing best practices Role model the 9 Honeywell behaviors to maximize the impact of changes Build, manage, energize and motivate high performing teams. Demonstrated team building /motivation with evidence of strong interpersonal skills to support change and transition management. Passion for improvement. Active participation on all aspects of HSE requirement. Foster the safety culture across the organization by identifying near misses and be role model on safety behaviors Knowledge Sharing, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM according to position or department requirements Monitoring business results per site in line with the Honeywell initiatives linking to safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cash performance
YOU MUST HAVE
Desired Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or Supply Chain/Operations Management Lean Expert and/or Black Belt certified Managed a global team Extensive experience driving continuous improvement and process excellence globally In depth knowledge of Quality Improvement Tools, Problem Solving Tools & Techniques Experience in coaching and deploying SPC, and Capability studies (Cp, CpK, PpK) etc. Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems Project management experience to manage multiple priorities in a highly matrixed organization Practical knowledge of ISO9001:2008/2015- Product, Process and System auditing Self-motivated with positive attitude that focus on delivering results; able to work independently with minimum supervision. Minimum 10 Years of high-volume low mix electronics manufacturing experience Significant operations/supply chain/ inventory replenishment/ supply base/distribution experience Track record of achieving results in challenging assignments Excellent business acumen to facilitate teams through end to end value stream activities. Results oriented with history of achievement against stretch goals, able to develop and deliver against plan. Working knowledge of operations business finance including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements Experience with Toyota Production System, Lean manufacturing or similar operating systems Excellent communication skills with history of influencing multiple levels of the organization.
