We are seeking a creative and detailed Neuroscientist to join our Neuroscience Therapeutic Focus Area as a Staff Scientist. You will be leading a small team studying the biology and treatment of several neurodegenerative diseases including initially frontotemporal dementia and Huntington's Disease.
A day in the life of this Staff Scientist may look like:
Recommending, developing, and overesight of new models, assays, targets, or research areas,
Preparing presentations of data, programs, or new ideas for senior leaders, interdisciplinary teams, and external collaborators.

In order to qualify for this role, you will need to have a strong publication history and will have completed a PhD in Neuroscience, a postdoctoral fellowship, and a minimum of 3 years of additional research after completion of this fellowship. Prior supervisory experience and evidence of successful project initiation and completion is required. Experience with in vitro, in vivo, and tissue-based assays is highly desirable, with some background in behavioral testing required.
