Responsibilities:

Perform various survey-related tasks under the instruction of the licensed land surveyor.
Supervising/instructing the instrument operator
Maintaining equipment
Maintaining vehicle (clean & organized)
Utilizing robotic total stations, data collectors, GPS equipment, and other survey equipment as well as standard hand tools such as shovels and machetes. Potentiating utilizing UAS (Drones) and terrestrial scanners.
Collecting data utilizing field to finish format
Taking clear accurate notes and preparing detailed sketches
Driving to and from job sites

Qualifications:

5+ years experience in the land surveying industry. Experience working on DOT projects is preferred, but not required.
Willing to travel throughout northern New England with occasional overnights.
Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions include cold, heat, and rain.
Possess physical ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours a day as well as lift survey equipment, open manhole covers, and cut line.
Clean driving and criminal record
