The Impact You'll Make

In this role, you answer and screen all incoming phone calls, respond to phone inquiries and correspondence with patients, family members, and insurance companies. You will verify insurance eligibility and ensure completion of all patient paperwork.

Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Greet all patients in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and screen incoming phone calls, take and give messages in a timely manner.
• Collect payments for services rendered and discharge patients and accurately post/document payments received.
• Maintain clean, neat and orderly work station.
• Schedule appointments and process patient registration into computer database.

Required Experience and Competencies:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or as a Medical Receptionist.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Numerical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Teamwork oriented, and must have initiative.
• Legible note taking with correct spelling.
• Flexible to work an 8 hour schedule between 7:30am-7:30pm (including possible weekends).

• Medical Assistant experience or interest.
