Position Description:
As a Compensation Analyst, you will expand your professional skills within in a growing, global S&P 500 company. Targeting the company’s executive population, you will support compensation benchmarking as well as short-term incentive (STI) and long-term incentive (LTI) program administration. Additionally, you will assist with preparing the annual proxy statement Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A).
The Compensation Analyst will:
• Conduct annual executive/ senior management benchmarking process in conjunction with external consultant
• Manage the ongoing administration of AMETEK’s annual incentive plan, including planning and executing of key responsibilities, communicating to managers and employees, and distributing payouts to various payrolls globally.
• Administer equity plan and grant processing for all award types (PRSU, NQSO, RS/U)
o The LTI award process; LTI target setting; manager and employee communications; Board material preparation, loading awards into vendor system.
o Vesting events including communications; configuration adjustments with vendor system; auditing and confirming tax set-ups between Tax Dept, Payroll, and vendor; dividend & interest calculations, coordination of vesting information with Finance and international controllers.
o Responding to report requests from Finance, international controllers and Corporate Secretary
• Support preparation of the annual proxy statement CD&A
• Prepare and/or review materials in conjunction with Compensation Committee meetings
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Compensation or another analytical role.
• Previous experience using HRIS systems (e.g. ADP, SAP SuccessFactors) to administer pay programs, perform analysis and prepare reports is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to be self-starting and to work independently when needed.
