Purpose:

~ The Genesis Sales Programs Manager is responsible for managing incentive systems and platforms - the SAP based Incentive Life cycle Management System –VINS, Sales Rewards, , as well as providing a lead functional role on the development of new incentive programs (retailer-objective programs, etc.).  In addition, this position will provide a key role in identifying, acquiring, and standardizing incentive data for incentive planning and analysis functions.  Successful incumbent must be able to communicate well with both internal and external parties. This position will assist in the development of the communication of the contests and incentives created for retailers.  In addition, this position will lead/support Governance meetings along with all sales operations daily, weekly and monthly reports. This position will utilize analysis of the market, sales potential, inventory availability and budget opportunities/constraints to achieve the business plan objectives and priorities. This position will be responsible for development and management of all-new recognition programs including communication, reporting and KPI development.  The position will support the Senior Manager, Incentives and Competitive Analysis and gather input from the Genesis Market Managers and the Regional Operations Managers (ROM) in their efforts to achieve the objectives. 

Major Responsibilities:

~Upload and manage all Genesis brand dealer-based sales contests and promotions

~Ensure payment is made on all incentives to retailers

~Audit incentive programs monthly

~Conduct industry sales analysis to better understand market trends

~Conduct post-program analysis for successes and future opportunities

~Participate in analysis and development of forecasts for future program and spending needs

~Process all invoices and purchase orders from incentive system vendors.

~Manage Incentive department budget tracking.

~Manage Sales Operations daily, weekly and monthly reports.

~Manager and coordinate Sales Operations Governance meetings presentation decks and reporting.

~Assist management with any ad-hoc requests.

Authority:

~ Manage Incentive Systems' resources.

~Manage all incentive system vendors and suppliers.

~Manage the department interfaces and relationships with all third-party providers of incentive data.

~Manage multiple projects and budgets (scope, delivery of goods/services, monitoring of performance, communication of results and issues to senior management).

~Approve system vendor related POs and invoices, VINS system log-on ID requests.

~Provide management with accurate information and recommendations to facilitate decision making.

~Potential to Mentor, Coach and Develop team members when hired; ensure department efficiency and effectiveness.

~ Backup and support Senior Manager, Incentives/Competitive Analysis as required.

Education:

~ Must be a high school graduate.

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred.

~ Master’s Degree a plus.

Related Experience:

~ Five plus years of automotive OEM or automotive finance company experience

~ Sales Operations experience required.

~ Three plus years of dealer contact experience preferred.

~ Regional background and assignments preferred.

Skill / Knowledge:

~  Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

~ Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have highly effective verbal and written skills and the ability to make dealer and regional presentations.

~ Excellent organizational skills.

~ Excellent time management skills.

~ Strong computer skills – SAP, Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:

~ Normal office duties.

~ Occasional night and weekend work
