The SharePoint System Manager is responsible for advancing Application Services' collaboration and content management strategy. As part of this effort, the SharePoint System Manager will lead all aspects of developing and supporting intranet and collaboration sites in SharePoint.

Duties:


  • Manage the SharePoint system environments by facilitating development of SharePoint solutions and design implementation in support of the latest business technology initiatives and business operating models
    Provide technical and analytical guidance, developing and defining business and technical requirements and solution designs as part of defined projects

  • Shape the strategy, structure, methodology, and standards for delivering SharePoint solutions

  • Implement SharePoint system solutions, including programming backend and front end components that extend the SharePoint environment and system capabilities

  • Lead a SharePoint team of SharePoint Administrators in technical design and development, evaluating and troubleshooting functional design and system architecture, as well as playing a key role in the technical decision process

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with high-level managers to promote SharePoint solutions, acceptance, and adoption

  • Support development and presentation of conceptual and functional innovation prototypes for evaluation, implementation, and adoption

  • Develop product functional and technical requirements and design documents and specifications based on business requirements

  • Lead the team toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals

  • Mentor the team by developing, coaching, training, scheduling, and evaluating employee performance to ensure team effectiveness

  • Provide an inclusive workplace that fosters development, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts

  • Regular and predictable attendance

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location

Job Requirements


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing best practices for governance, security, design, development, along with implementation and user experience in SharePoint is required

  • Prior management experience and proven ability to mentor and grow a team is required

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or similar discipline is required; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Advanced expertise in SharePoint Data mapping and migration

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures & Triggers is a plus

  • Advanced expertise in SharePoint Data mapping and migration

  • Ability to build web-based systems on the Microsoft Power Platform and RPA solutions* Knowledge and ability to perform record retention, backup and restore, DLP, and disaster recovery

  • Ability to implement O365 business solutions using full lifecycle/Agile development. methodologies with web-based applications

  • Knowledge of record retention, backup and restore, DLP, and disaster recovery

  • Ability to develop websites and applications in SharePoint, Office 365, .NET, Azure, PowerShell, and SharePoint Designer

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($120,000.00-$135,000.00). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Participation in the Company bonus programs for each plan year are subject to management recommendation and internal committee review.
