Position Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Molding Technician, putting tools in the machines, builds tools. Programs process in the machine. Start up the Molding machines, Processes with Assistance from Technicians when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build tool
• Clean tools and put away after the completion of the production run.
• Organize and maintain tool storage area
• Coordinate tool repairs with tool shop
• Reviews part folders for special instruction, quality alerts, special tooling etc.
• Hangs molds and sets the mold process parameters for the product to be run per the IM process
• Works with schedule, Max and QMS
• Performs manual inspections with a variety of tools, micrometer, and caliper, etc.
• Use Statistical Process Control program
• Operates molding machines
• Works on Preventive Maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Works with Sr. Technician, Tool Shop, Engineering and other team members on a daily basis
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements:
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Versatility required to perform many and varied other assembly and soldering operations manually.

Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts.

Ability to read blueprints required

Additional Characteristics:

This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environment

This position required the ability to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

This position may require standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day

This position required good manually dexterity and visual acuity

This position may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
