Position Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Plans and prepares mold through the interpretation of blue prints, instructions, sketches and/or studying actual part.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Advanced machine set-up & operation
• Selects set-up of appropriate tooling & fixturing
• Adjusts tooling & work offsets
• Able to work consistently to close tolerances
• Troubleshoot advanced & complex programs
• Editing of advanced & complex programs
• Perform inspection on own work & co-worker’s work
• Assist & support others in daily departmental operations
• Utilize QMS, MAX & SPC data bases as needed
• Follow established quality & safety standards
• Maintain a clean & safe work environment
• Works independently

Position Requirements:
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Versatility required to perform many and varied other assembly and soldering operations manually.

Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts.

Ability to read blueprints required

Additional Characteristics:

This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environment

This position required the ability to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

This position may require standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day

This position required good manually dexterity and visual acuity

This position may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
