Summary:

As the Senior Product Transformation Coach you will lead the Digital transition from a project to product centric organization and be the co-owner of the Digital Product Management Framework. You will coach business leaders and product teams on how to embed product and agile mindset within our organization. This will allow us to get closer to our consumers in the digital space through continuous value creation. You will also be the spokesperson for the Product Transformation Office to evangelize the value of product and agile mindset with business leaders to build co-ownership of the transformation journey.

Key Accountabilities: 


  • Provide thought-leadership and guide enterprise through the digital product transformation journey to transition from project centric to product centric organization (how we can add value by solving problems rather than building solutions first and then find problems)

  • Mentor/coach senior business and DTS leaders on product and agile mindset to enable them as effective leaders in digital product space

  • Provide one on one and team level coaching for Product Managers specifically related to market research & validation, segmentation, personas, customer journeys, problem statements, market needs, product vision, business cases, MVPs, roadmaps, driving product adoption

  • Coach product teams on how to define and monitor outcomes and value realization

  • Monitor effectiveness of product management practices and drive continuous improvement to K-C product management framework and practices, includes the implementation of new product management practices

  • Directly influence leadership (up to executive levels) and their teams throughout DTS (infrastructure, applications teams, business partners, Strategy/Innovation/Architecture, Cyber Security and Assurance) to drive adoption of Product thinking

  • Mentor developing Product Management coaches

  • Engage with external Product Management guilds to further research, learning insuring product management framework is aligned with industry standards

Key Qualifications and Experiences:


  • B.A. or B.S./M.S. (Advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field.

  • 12+ years of Professional experience with a minimum of 4 years of Information Technology experience.

  • +4 yrs. working as Product Management

  • +2 yrs. working as Product Owner (preferred)

  • +4 yrs. working in an Agile Software Delivery Environment

  • +2 yrs. working as a Product Management Coach

  • +2 yrs. working within an organization focused on Digital Transition

  • Experience developing and deploying Global Methodologies in a large organization

  • Prior accountabilities that required influencing leaders outside of administrative authority; Strong leadership skills with emphasis on communications and partner management

Preferred Experiences:


  • Product Manager Certification; Product Owner Certification

  • Own internal marketing efforts to raise visibility of the transformation journey to create enthusiasm and pull to be a part of this journey
