Oracle Financials ERP Functional Testing Lead at Cognizant in Chicago, Illinois

Job Responsibilities

• Help clients understand leading business processes so they can transform their business with Oracle

• Responsible for testing the AR, AP, Asset, GL, Cash Management and knowledge on Procure to Pay Modules

• Responsible for end to end testing phases (test cases, test scripts, test execution)

• Spot strategies, risks, and options and then recommend approaches that sidestep problems and help clients meet their needs

• Lead, coach and advise a small project team in addition to managing their performance (depending upon the structure of a project)

• Document and test the Oracle system, understand and apply Oracle methodologies

• Work with clients and stakeholders to make sure project goals are met

• Stay current with leading industry trends and Oracle features to give your clients the best solutions for their needs

• Gain the trust of your client, teammates, and managers to make sure projects get delivered successfully 

• Keep growing your skills to help your team with business development and sales efforts

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle Financials experience and at least 3 years of Oracle Cloud with 1 year of experience in at least three of the following: General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Cash Management

• Must have experience working directly with the client on each testing phase

• Must have experience from a functional perspective with focus on implementing Oracle ERP Cloud modules including facilitating global testing workshops, direct interaction with clients, provide subject matter guidance and training, ensure that the implementation follows established practice configuration principles, support the delivery 

team with expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud product suite, provide implementation support, bug fixes and customer support during the testing.
