Are you ready to take your Caregiving and QMAP skills to the next level? We are looking for a dynamic leader who is exited to take on new challenges in their career! As a Care Supervisor, you play an integral role in the health and wellness of our residents each day.
What does a Care Supervisor do for Bonaventure? This position is essential in coordinating Health Services for our residents. Checking service plans, coordinating team members, and participating in training new team members are just a few of the aspects of this role. You will also be responsible for:
Direct care giving staff members
Coordinate all service relating to resident care needs in conjunction with the Assisted living Director
Monitor resident care needs and assisted team members as needed
Address resident and family concerns
Act as Manager on Duty on a rotating basis
Review alert charting daily
Monitor resident care needs and alert the Registered Nurse Consultant to resident's health care provider when the resident has a change of medical condition.
Pass medication when needed
Perform weekly Med Pass Observations and Caregiver Observations
Caregiving when needed
Review medication orders and follow up on non-preauthorization's
Monitor physician orders to properly order medications as needed by residents.
Audit the Medication Administration Record weekly.
Assist with 90-day orders quarterly as needed
Assist with new resident move in process to ensure paperwork and physician orders are on hand.
Communicate with caregiving and dining staff on new resident needs and preferences.

Qualifications\Experience
Recent history of caregiver experience in assisted living setting
Recent history of medication assistant experience in assisted living setting
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Positive and cheerful disposition.
Proven organization qualities
The ability to be on call 24 hours
Comfortable making decisions and directing other
Able to perform frequent lifting of less than, or equal to, 50 pounds
Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
Education and Experience
18 year of age
High school graduate of equivalent GED
Has a certificate of completion of core delegation training for Nursing Assistants (Washington requirement).
Currently certified and willing to maintain CPR Certification.
