Summary

Responsibilities include to open, review and evaluate all Spare Part returns in a timely manner; checking for defects, usage or misuse. Responsible for properly and accurately dispositioning the returned Spare Parts to stock, to the vendor, or to be scrapped. Follow up on credits due from vendors in order to ensure timely payment.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Open orders returned by the customer in the order of the date received




• Verify the returned parts matches the return paperwork




• Professionally re-package all parts being returned to stock Issue credit of returned parts to customers accordingly




• Monitor return rate of defective parts and effectively communicate patterns to Spare Parts Management, Quality and Service Departments




• Communicate effectively to vendors and coordinate returns and credits due to TRUMPF as needed.




• Coordinate return of critical parts with Service Engineers and Customers as needed

Experience

Experience in Material Management or Inventory Control helpful. Must be organized and have the ability to work independently. Must be able to lift heavy items. Computer experience required including knowledge of basic Excel, Word and the SAP system. Ability to operate a fork lift is required..

Education

Minimum High school graduate or equivalent required.
