Overview

The Investment Finance Group manages ~$13 billion in assets across the Company's pension, 401(k), and retiree healthcare plans. The 6-person group is responsible for the asset allocation, investment manager monitoring and selection, and administration of the plan assets. In this unique role, you'll be responsible for the oversight of the Plans' International equity managers and 401k Stable Value fund, management of external plan audits/disclosure requirements, and plan asset benchmarking. You will also identify and implement process improvements as the plans evolve, as well as deliver ad hoc analysis as needed.

This role is a broadening experience as it will provide the opportunity to build new perspectives gained from external partners, expand your personal network to include corporate functional subject matter experts, and engage in initiatives that impact the organization at an enterprise level. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your functional experiences through governing and executing control activities as you will be expected to help ensure compliance to accounting standards, adhere to required governance and disclosure activities concerning benefit plan management, and perform Sox and management controls.

Key Accountabilities


  • Oversee International equity investment managers/funds and the 401(k) Stable Value Fund, including ongoing due diligence.

  • Manage investment related aspects of external audits across all Plans - Both fiscal year and calendar year.

  • Support 5500 preparation & annual pension/401(k) disclosures

  • Management of third-party analytics software, including updating monthly/quarterly analytics reports

  • Complete monthly plan funded status tracking and periodic pension expense estimates

  • Lead annual peer CPG benefit plan asset benchmarking study and CIEBA survey

  • Other ad hoc reporting/analysis as needed

Minimum Qualifications


  • B.S. in Finance/Accounting/Economics

  • Strong interest in investments

  • Process Excellence: History of demonstrating rigor and leadership in bringing discipline, standards, and governance to processes, operations, data, and results.

  • Risk Management: History of embracing a 'controls mindset' through championing policy compliance and adherence to internal controls.

  • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to leverage strong analytical skills to provide meaningful insights and drive robust decision making.

  • Partnership for Impact: Experience in working with stakeholders with varying backgrounds and building high-trust relationships to drive prioritization and influence decisions.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Progress toward investment related certifications (CIPM, CFA, etc.)

  • Prior plan sponsor and/or plan audit experience
