Job Summary
Summary:
A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Sleep Lab Director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and/or patient care and education. This person may also act as an active participant of the system outreach program by attending health fairs and other wellness activities in response to community requests or targeted efforts designed to influence healthy life styles, and meet healthcare needs

Additional Requirements
Must complete BRPT , ABSM, and/or the NBRC requirements for, and pass the examination for certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Sleep. Technologist (RST), Sleep Disorder Subspecialty (SDS) credential within 12 months of your hire date. If candidate is a Respiratory Therapist utilizing the NBRCs' SDS certification to fulfill the certification requirement, a Florida state license to practice Respiratory Therapy must be maintainedUS:FL:Fort Myers
