About The Job

Sandy Spring Bank is currently recruiting for a File Management Adminin the Loan Administration Department. If you are the chosen candidate, you will be responsible for, under general supervision, performing general paper filing for all loan note types. Duties include imaging, indexing and electronic uploading of documents. Must accurately identifies documents associated with each type of loan to ensure accuracy of the filing. Job is responsible for accurate record keeping for files sent to retention.

Areas of focus:

  • Collaborates and provides documents to Legal for requests specific to Loan documentation. Following all policies and procedures set forth by the Legal department. Provides information requested prior to deadlines.

  • Responsible for intermittent imaging/uploading of essential documents and follow up documentation using Wassau's software and specific equipment

  • Conducts monthly note audit of all loans booked the prior month by the 15th of each month. Works with loan business lines to track outstanding items. Any issues reported to the Department Team Leader.

  • Maintain requests for documents from users for documents through CX360 platform. Responsible for timely responses to user Service Requests, changing of status request and follow up until resolved.

  • Assist business lines in providing documents from electronic or paper files and payment histories in all internal/external exams.

  • Inventories all paid physical files/note jackets routinely. Ensuring they are sent to in-house retention.

  • Provides review of documents uploaded from nCino to Optima to ensure documents have been appropriately uploaded. Reports any issues to Team Leader immediately.

  • Responsible for the daily collection and distribution of the daily mail for both Loan Support, Loan Servicing and Credit Administration.

Required Skills:

* 1 to 2 years work experience in lending and to have general knowledge of loan documentation. General understanding of bank operations need to correctly process transactions necessary.

* Ability to operate standard office equipment. Average to above average experience using personal computers systems including all office suites and windows navigational skills.

* Accuracy and astute attention to detail are required. Above average organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines are a must.

* Position requires external and internal contact in seeking or supplying routine information. Appropriate interpersonal and telephone skills needed to maintain a positive rapport throughout the organization.

* Work is under general supervision where standard practice enables the employee to operate alone on routine work, referring questionable situations to supervisor.
