The Janitor (also known as Housekeeper, Environmental Services Aide, EVS Aide, Custodian, Cleaner, Housekeeping) is responsible for the general cleaning and related sanitation functions for all Administrative buildings in Penn-Mar Human Services and other location as deemed appropriate. The Janitor is responsible for all general cleaning functions to ensure a safe, sanitary and professional environment for both the staff and individuals we support.
This job is inclusive of, but not excluded to the following duties:
- General cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming of all common areas.
- Collection and disposal of all trash and refuse.
- Cleaning and vacuuming of all administrative and programmatic areas.
- Disinfecting, sweeping and mopping all lavatory areas.
- Cleaning all coffee stations, break rooms and training spaces including microwaves, tables, sink counters and refrigerators.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma/ G.E.D.
- 1-2 years of housekeeping or janitor experience required.
- Acceptable criminal background.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass pre-employment Drug Screen/ Physical/ Mantoux Test (PPD, TB).
