Recruiter

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is hiring!! We are looking for a strong recruiter with experience recruiting for construction projects. As a recruiter here you will participate in end to end recruiting to attract the best possible talent. You will also be responsible to ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. You are an action-oriented, self-starter that is able to develop strong relationships with business leaders and peers to help Aldridge Electric achieve hiring goals.

What you’ll do:

• Interface with internal hiring managers to determine current and forecast future staffing needs and source potential candidates.

• Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.

• Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (screening calls, interviews, etc.

• Assist with College recruiting as needed

• Onboarding- conduct an effective first day onboarding experience for all company new hires.

• Proficient in the use of social media strategy relative to all recruiting efforts.

• Report all unsafe behaviors and/or conditions, near misses, incidents and injuries to your supervisor immediately. Take immediate action as appropriate if you observe something that could cause injury to a fellow worker.

• Participate in all required safety training.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Communication or another related field, or equivalent experience in recruiting, human resources, or construction.

• 3+ years experience in recruiting, construction experience is preferred.

• Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.

• You have experience working on LinkedIn Recruiter

• Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.

• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and databases.

• Time-management skills and the ability to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stay highly organized and consistently meet deadlines.

• Experience with Microsoft Suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
