| Description |
VSolvit LLC is seeking to add a CM Specialist to our team on a full-time basis in support of our US Navy customer for which we provide multiple types of support. This role will be focused on the Technical Manual Support Services for the Aegis Weapon System (AWS) and located at Port Hueneme CA with possible occasional meeting in Ventura CA. The ideal candidate will bring four (4) years’ experience in Technical Manual configuration tracking/management concepts and MS Access database design and maintenance: Within this position description are two sub-specialties that require a minimum of at least one year of experience of each category to add up to four years' worth of experience:
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide on-site configuration management, information management, database, and production support for US Navy Technical Documentation program. Maintain inventory control for technical data Provide account administration support for stand-alone computer systems Update material transmittal and receipt documentation Provide development, technical, and data management support for Technical Manual configuration database using MS Access Create delivery media templates and graphic labels for mass producing CD/DVD products Operate CD/DVD replication equipment
Basic Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Development Certification 2 + years' experience in TM configuration tracking/management concepts and MS Access database design and maintenance. Within this position description are two sub-specialties that require a minimum of at least one year of experience of each category to add up to four years' worth of experience: 1+ year experience in Inventory control and management of classified systems/libraries: 1+ year experience in the use of MS Word and MS Project for the review and tracing of technical documentation in Government systems, as well as archiving databases. Configuration management database systems design: Experienced in the: creation/modification /migration/protection of complex MS Access databases/queries/reports; creation/modification and maintenance of MS Access Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and macros; and in the application of those to TM configuration management systems issues. Active Secret Clearance is required. Preferred Skills Bachelors Degree 6+ years' experience in TM configuration tracking/management concepts 6+ years' experience in MS Access database design and maintenance, including the creation/modification /migration/protection of complex MS Access databases/queries/reports Experience developing production metrics and creating customer reports, including MS Word and MS Project for the review and tracing of technical documentation in Government systems, as well as archiving databases. Active Secret Clearance is required |
