POSITION SUMMARY
Sell spare and replacement parts and equipment to external customers in parts store or internal customers in repair shop.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Read online catalogs and use the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.* Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.
Salary range is $22 to $30 per hour. Stewart & Stevenson offers a comprehensive benefit package, that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Plus, vacation, sick time, and holiday pay.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and two to four years related experience required.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Oracle experience preferred.
Certificates & Licenses N/A
Other Requirements
Prior sales and customer service/support training and experience preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
