POSITION SUMMARY

The Internal Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for facilitating customer needs and requests in a way that is informative, productive, and efficient. This role utilizes their knowledge of the equipment we sell, to coordinate with internal customers, including Sales, Engineering, Quality, and more.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage internal customers under your responsibility and communicate with your customer, answering their requests in a timely fashion.

  • Process orders in our ERP system and organize shipments in accordance with TLD's policies and procedures.

  • Assist in writing and maintaining product technical manuals and datasheets.

  • Assist in coordinating technical training for service technicians and customers.

  • Exercise discretion on the prioritization and execution of daily tasks and projects in order to perform required work on time and to a satisfactory quality. Taking notes, being organized, and being clear are keys to success in this position.

  • Be a team player; get support from your colleagues based on their specialty and help them at the best of your ability. Multitask and be flexible for the benefit of our customers.



QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


  • Associate's degree preferred with one year of experience, or 3+ years of experience in a parts desk or customer service role, manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

  • ERP system experience (Infor/BaaN experience a plus)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) at an intermediate level

  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a team and/or solo environment

  • Time management skills
