Assist with training, motivating and evaluating Payroll Staff
Oversee High Volume Payroll Entries using Kronos Timecards, Payroll Adjustments and Special Payments (i.e. Bonus Pay and additional Pay for Physicians)
Verify information submitted thru Workflow for Session and Bonus Pay
Reconcile Multiple Entity Payrolls for Union, Non-Union and Exempt employees.
Calculate and Process Manual Checks
Calculate Retro Payments due
Calculate Overpayments
Run Payroll Simulations prior to payroll transmittal to validate payroll hours and information keyed
Transmit Payroll, Review and Preview Files, Accept Payroll,
Prepare Payroll Tax Documents for Finance
Batching and Distribution of Payroll Checks and Vouchers as needed
Reporting:
Create and Run Weekly Payroll reporting for Finance Department
Organize, Schedule, and Manage Automation of Payroll Reporting for Third Party Vendors
Prepare Monthly Reporting Check Requests for Vendors (ADP) and Unions (338, 1199, NYSNA)
Create and Prepare Additional Reports as requestedfor HR, Budget, and Finance Departments
Quarterly/Annual Processes:
Verify and Reconcile Quarterly Wage Registers
Prepare Tax information requested by Human Resources/Benefits Department
Verify Input of Scheduled Maintenance of Future Year Adjustments with Human Resources (Benefit Deductions, Uniform Allowance, Certification Differentials)
Preview Masterfile Analysis
Submit Payroll & Reporting Scheduling to ADP
Input Year End Adjustments (Third Party Sick Pay, Employer Cost of Healthcare, Pension Qualification Changes, Commuter Tax)
Verify and Reconcile Annual Tax Files
Batching and Distribution of W2's
Additional:
Assist with Updates and Maintenance of HRIS system in conjunction with Human Resources Department (i.e. Mass Changes, Imports, Across the Board Increases)
Attend Weekly Meetings with BIS/ADP / SAP groups to log, review and discuss issues and any necessary system changes.
Manage and calculate Paid Time Off Benefits
Gather information and create reporting necessary for Payroll Audits
Test issues or changes to ADP, SAP, Kronos Test environment
Create reports using EXEL Pivot tables and v-lookups
At least 6 years payroll experience in complex setting
Education/Skills

Excellent communication skills
Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
Experience using Electronic Timekeeping System(Kronos)
Experience with ADP, Payfore and ADP Reporting
Experience working with In House Payroll System ( SAP, INFOR)
4 Year degree -Consideration will be given for experience in lieu of degree
