QA Lead - Onsite (Data, Integrations)

10-12 years' experience in managing hybrid team of onsite/offshore/nearshore that deliver quality engineering services - QE planning and execution of complex data and digital initiatives and maintenances/releases in enterprise setting; hospitality experience is a plus

Experience managing and maturing a Testing Center of Excellence, managing tools, maturing repeatable processes, leveraging right mix of open source and other technologies

Experience estimating effort and timelines based on vision document for projects/enhancements or release intake process - across test planning, test case design and creation, test execution/orchestration, automation suite creation, regression execution, performance testing design and execution and governance across SDLC gates

Adept in impact analysis of the change/enhancement to drive at the right test strategy - full, risk based, target regression, happy path and so on

Experience writing and delivering thorough Test Strategy using JIRA user stories/requirements, project milestone plan to cover all logistics like WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE leaving the HOW for detail test case planning portion as needed

Mentoring QA Leads to follow repeatable framework for managing test scope, assumptions, environment plans and risks early in planning exercise and publishing the milestone deliverables at different stages - QA, System Integration, UAT, Preview, Production

Analyzing requirements, confirm for completeness, identify testers, ask meaningful questions that will yield more information and help perform testing effectively

Experience managing testing tools licenses/infrastructure, upgrades, vendor relationships/renewals while rationalizing to use right tools.

Advocating use of JIRA and XRAY as consistent standards for test tracking and training leads to use effective Dashboards that show true test status

Ability to guide best practices with status reporting on key metrics, progress, risks, and open follows & demonstrate good cadence on status/scrum calls to steer testing progress towards planned completion and risk mitigation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience managing, and mitigating testing risks, dependencies and escalations as needed. Creating and strengthening business and stakeholder trust and partnerships through transparency and accountability.

Data (must have): Review and guide proper testing is done across our vendor landscapes and support end to end integration testing between key vendor apps like Salesforce, Datawarehouse/EDW/AWS, Olson, Oracle EBS, etc. using AWS ETLs, S3, Glue Jobs and Lambda's.

Data (must have): Experience reconciling data from source to transit to target in different formats from file to database tables when performing end to end testing

Guide right performance test techniques when testing performance of batch jobs, page response times to compare and contrast or execute spot/volume tests as applicable
