The Opportunity

As part of the Infrastructure Processors physical design team, you will be designing next-generation, high-performance processor chips in a leading-edge CMOS process technology, targeted at server, 5G, and networking applications. Our team consists of individuals who develop cutting-edge methodology and implement block-level and partition-level designs. Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and support Marvell's block-level and partition-level construction and signoff flows, incorporating industry standard EDA tools

  • Perform synthesis, PnR, timing analysis, and backend checks on complex logic blocks

  • Develop and implement timing and logic ECOs

  • Interact with the RTL design team to drive design modifications to resolve congestion and timing issues

  • Work with the global timing team in debugging/resolving any block-level timing issues seen at full chip

  • Interact with tool vendors to drive tool improvements and perform tool evaluations of new tools/functions

Requirements:


  • Deep understanding of standard RTL to GDS flows and methodology

  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Perl, tcl, and Python

  • Object-oriented programming skills

  • In-depth knowledge of digital logic and computer architecture

  • Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL

  • Good communication skills and self-discipline contributing in a team environment


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 1-3 years of related professional experience.

  • Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields
