Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.


-Develop and manage cycle count schedule in accordance with SOX and company compliance


-Utilize daily reports and cycle processes to locate and resolve inventory discrepancies


-Maintain inventory accuracy within company guidelines and facility expectations


-Manage received inventory to ensure vendor payment aligns with product received


-Research inventory discrepancies and quality issues, as a result of associate errors, in order to provide feedback to customers, associates and management.


-Distribute daily work load for the inventory control/ops support employees


-Manage the movement/placement of product to maximize efficiency and capacity.


-Educate and train employees to ensure that inventory and quality errors that effect the inventory integrity are minimized.


-Additional duties as deemed necessary or appropriate by management.


-Manage customer interaction to resolve order issues, delivery issues and customer credits.   


 


 


Requirements and Qualifications:



  • Communication Skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of proper business communication etiquette is required.

  • Computer Skills – Intermediate to proficient computer skills are required. PC literate with MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Well-rounded understanding of distribution systems and processes is required. 

  • Must possess the ability to:

  • Interact with customers at a highly professional level, solve problems and improve the customer experience.

  • Diagnose and resolve problems efficiently

  • Learn new processes and systems effectively

  • Exhibit excellent organizational skills – disciplined and orderly.
