                                                          Process Improvement Coordinator Opportunity Overview



Analyze processes for improvement opportunities across various banking business units and offer recommendations in a collaborative environment. Prioritize requests, scope out business requirements, organize collaboration with business partners, and seek feedback. Deploy business solutions in a timely manner which could be in the form of written procedures, communication to various audiences, system development, or full process automation.


As a Process Improvement Coordinator with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:


 



  • Analyze current processes, procedures (front line or back office), system functionality, and other manual processes with the goal of achieving more effective operational services and accuracy while assessing appropriate risk management controls and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain the internal standards for operational communications, procedures, and automated workflows including managing requests, scope planning, decision making, testing, issues tracking, and maintain a library of procedures, archive of communications, and documented workflow designs.

  • Partner with various operational teams and/or vendors to collaborate, discuss, conceptualize, and implement process improvements using the integrated system solutions which includes actively researching and troubleshooting complex operational issues and offering recommendations to management.

  • Prepare end user (front line or back office) procedures, instructions, or training materials for effectiveness in relation to process improvements through collaboration, evaluation, recommendations, and communication processes.

  • Coordinate process improvements with a focus on either communications and procedural changes or through system solutions and automation.

  • Administer the department's content for employee facing resources through the bank's intranet sites including all procedures, policies, forms, references, links, pages, resources, announcements, and more using SharePoint tools.

  • Develop an ever evolving knowledge of core banking systems and ancillary products including best practices, bank procedures, trusted resources, and regulatory standards.

  • Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.



QUALIFICATIONS



Education & Certifications


 




  • H.S. Diploma in required

  • Associate's Degree in preferred



Experience


 




  • 5 - 8 years in of progressive experience in banking operations is required including leadership roles and involvement in development or organizational improvement projects. required



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


 




  • Knowledge of bank operations, products, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of audit and exam functions. Knowledge of basic project methodology.

  • Experience with implementing operational changes as a major participant in other change management events including conceptualizing, demonstrating, documenting, validating, training, and coordinating multiple deadlines related to the change.

  • Advanced skills with office products for organizing data and documenting processes including MS Office, Power Point, VISIO, and SharePoint is preferred.

  • Extensive verbal and written communication skills including the ability to analyze problems of a technical nature with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

  • Possess a high level of analytical ability for resolving complex operational or system problems with strong project-like organizational skills and the ability to define objectives as well as accurately forecast timelines and identify resources necessary to respond to business needs.

  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relative to bank operations.
