An established acute care hospital located in south-western Virginia is currently searching for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join their accredited healthcare team.

This community-based hospital is home to just over 100-beds and provides a full range medical and surgical services. The Speech Language Pathologist will join a comprehensive rehab service line that provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Under direction of the Director of Rehabilitation, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide high-quality and cost-effective therapeutic interventions to patients, provide patient education, and assist in emergency situations as needed. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop, assess, and provide treatment options and appropriate care for a variety of patient populations included pediatric, adult, and geriatric.

Requirements Include:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology


• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist


• Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia


• BLS certification required 30-days after hire


• Minimum two years of prior experience required
