Job Description:

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is looking for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support our Nuclear Business Unit in our San Jose, CA office. Structural Integrity Associates is an established industry leader in the power generation industry, providing engineering services to electric utilities worldwide.

The engineer in this role will join the Fatigue Management group, which specializes in the management of metal fatigue in power plant components and systems. The engineer will support various projects within the group and perform tasks under the supervision of senior-level engineers. Tasks include fatigue analysis, stress analyses, software design, development, and testing, and analysis of power plant operation. The engineer will participate in project team meetings, both internally and with clients. Some travel may be required.

The work environment is team-based and varies depending on the requirements of each project. Each project team is led by an industry expert and composed of engineers from various engineering disciplines. Day-to-day activities will be a combination of independent tasks and collaboration with team members.
