Position Summary
This position is responsible for the development, growth, delivery and measurement of core skill learning programs, management/leadership, system training, continued associate development and new hire related initiatives.

Essential Duties
(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Assesses and identifies learning needs and/or solutions to address skills, knowledge, competency and performance gaps building strong partnerships with key clients and stakeholders supported.
2. Creates and executes overall strategy and plan in alignment with key priorities for the organization.
3. Researches, recommends, develops and oversees design, delivery and assessment of learning programs, events, and curricula.
4. Manages learning and development for Goodwill.
5. Develops appropriate learning content and instructional materials in collaboration with key subject matter experts and stakeholders.
6. Tracks, measures, and ensures effectiveness of learning initiatives and programs.
7. Develops and maintains quality standards in learning products and services (delivery, design, measures and reporting).
8. Creates sound maintenance plans to keep learning products and services current.
9. As required, facilitates both classroom and on-line learning solutions.
10. Supports and develops direct reports through setting clear goals; providing regular actionable feedback; devoting time to coaching and development; recognizing and rewarding associates; building a diverse team; providing organizational context, vision and strategy.
11. Maintains membership in an organization related to strengthening the utilization of learning and development approaches (MAGIC, VGN, Learning Industry Organization).

Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
3-5 Years' experience in related field required.
No professional certifications are required for this position.
Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Ability to operate PC and databases required. Experience with current Microsoft Office systems preferred.
Experience in training facilitation and training design, required. Previous experience in the field of leadership and management development, preferred. Proven competency in application of Adult Learning Theory, required. Strong knowledge of training methodologies (Traditional: E-learning, Web-based), required. Proficiency in the use of computer equipment and other standard office equipment, required. Experience with current Windows and Microsoft office systems, preferred.

Safety Statement

This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions
General Office Position - The associate is required to lift up to 10 pounds maximum.
The associate works in a moderate work environment with occasional exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
The associate is required to travel throughout the Goodwill service area. Occasional overnight travel is required.
