Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION: As a strategic partner, the HCMBP aligns business objectives with employees and management in their designated operating unit. This position will play a critical, strategic role on the HCM Team by providing thought leadership and direction to assigned internal client groups regarding the design, execution and measurement of people/talent capability planning and development and optimization of HCM programs and solutions. Serve as the primary focal point for delivering HCM programs and solutions to the internal client groups. The HRBP will act as employee champion and change agent. HCMBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates these needs proactively to our HCM department leadership and to the operating unit management to develop integrated solutions.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • SPHR preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience in HR Management required.

  • Minimum 6 years of HR experience the design, development and execution of human resources strategies and tactics.

  • Strong consultative, presentation, analytical and business communication skills (oral and written) required.

  • Ability to visualize and effectively convey a "big picture" view of strategic HR and how it fits with WCG business strategies.

  • Must be able to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions, flexible, work with interruptions, work in stressful situations, and shift priorities of work as required.

  • Must be able to plan and organize work effectively to meet established guidelines.

  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP a plus) Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and regulations that will impact the effective implementation of WCG's HR policies and practices

  • Ability to work with close attention to detail and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.


  • Provide top-quality coaching, customer service, and solutions in all areas of HR, including employee relations, talent management, rewards and leadership training

  • Develop talent within the assigned client groups to meet current and future business needs

  • Work with assigned corporate leaders to rollout critical HR programs (performance management, leadership development, incentives, succession)

  • Identify and consult on human resource strategies, programs, and/or processes in response to changing internal and external conditions

  • Partner with HCM Centers of Expertise (Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation) to provide strategic insight on the design and development of HR programs, tools and processes. Be well versed in employee recruitment strategies and process.

  • Have ability to partner with internal client management to drive human capital in order to implement process and programs to drive human capital to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Liaise between the Centers of Expertise, other HRBP and assigned client groups to ensure consistency in policy interpretation and application.

  • Monitor and report on key talent metrics for assigned client groups

  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HCM team to develop solutions, programs and policies.

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations

  • Support/facilitate significant organization change initiatives (via change management, organization design)

  • Forecast talent needs for assigned client groups and work with team to put in plans for each group

  • Develop and implement diversity inclusion strategies with assigned leaders

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws. Coach managers and employees on requests for FMLA and ADA accommodations.

  • Other duties as assigned. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The majority of time will be spent performing HR related work; however, will provide input on performance assessments on work of those within their operating unit.
