Kleinfelder's Morrisville (Raleigh) NC office is seeking Construction Materials Testing Technicians / Special Inspectors with 1+ years of experience to join our team. We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing. We're looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field, in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications. The Special Inspector / Technician will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. Required Certifications include:

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician


• Nuclear Gauge / Troxler (soils experience is a must)

Desired Certifications include:

• ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector


• ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector

The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring. Must be able to use a computer and a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and photo management software is required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Must be willing to travel throughout the Carolinas Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
