A week in the life of our Cybersecurity Analysst:
Apply cyber security knowledge to assist in resolving IAVMs, STIG findings, potential infrastructure risks, and other cyber security related issues.
Provide detailed ACAS scan analysis for MS systems to improve security without negatively impacting the system's mission
Provide subject matter expertise regarding security of MS Active Directory and MS OS (Windows 10, 2012, 2016, 2019)
Lead efforts for Risk Analysis on software packages
Support DoD HBSS (McAfee ePO) report analysis
Provide security guidance on Antivirus, Intrusion Prevention and Firewall policies using McAfee ePO (DoD HBSS)
Coordinate with teammates and end users to identify, track, and resolve complex security technical issues.
Establish and maintain procedural documentation and KB articles and share knowledge through training and mentorship of team members
Identify opportunities for process improvement in cyber security operations

Job Requirements
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Either hold a current DoDI 8570 IAC Level II Certification (Security+, for example) or obtain certification within 6 months of hire
Understanding of the DoD RMF process, specifically as it pertains to securing and accrediting boundaries within a DoD enclave
Familiarity with using security tools such as SCC/SCAP and ACAS in order to identify and address mitigation of security findings
At least 5 years of experience in cyber security in Army Medicine (USAMMA ICSPMO)
Advanced knowledge of DoD STIGS applicable to MS technology and MS Best Practices
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Cybersecurity and working on complex systems and software programs
Experience working within a disciplined, process based SDLC
Required Skills:
Deep understanding of analysis of reports generated from security tools such as HBSS/ACAS
Experience identifying and researching mitigations for system security risks
Experience with eMASS and submitting packages via the RMF process
Ability to support forensics and evidentiary preservation.
Ability to make recommendations on the protection of CUI and sensitive data.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of cloud computing - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
Experience working in a Veterans Administration (VA) or commercial health care support systems environment
Working knowledge of ITIL service delivery framework
