  • Starting at $18 - $21 per hour + Room for Growth

This position is a hybrid position working for the Hope Behavioral Health Clinic. This position will be working as both a Registered Behavior Technician, with individuals that experience Autism, under the direction of a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Additionally, a BHT/RBT will be working with individuals that experience Mental Health Disorders under the direction of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

The BHT/RBT provides a combination of Applied Behavioral Analysis interventions under the direction of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and needed mental health interventions under the direction of Licensed Professional Counselor. The BHT/RBT received direction to implement those interventions for the singular purpose of assisting individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or a diagnosable mental illness/emotional disturbance in making progress toward reaching treatment goals.


The successful candidate will receive extensive training in both Mental Health and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). If not already credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Hope Community Resources will provide all the required training to be able to sit for the RBT certification offered through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). This is an internationally recognized credential to be a direct support professional who provides ABA services under the supervision of a credentialed BCBA.


Part time (12 - 25 hrs) include flexible scheduling, nights and weekends off, can pair great with student schedules!

The hours are approximately Mon - Fri between the hours of 9:30am - 6:30pm, but will be discussed in more detail during the interview process specific to your position and availability. 


Essential Job Duties:






  • Implements Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) programs under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst and therapeutic interventions and techniques under the direction of a Mental Health Clinician. Teaches prescribed skill acquisition programs and strategies.

  • Uses applied behavior analysis interventions to teach support recipients skills; including communication, social interaction, problem-solving, daily living etc. Provides interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors. Helps facilitate interactions between support recipients and others.

  • Introduces and implements behavior protocols; provides behavioral intervention in home, community, and school settings. Teaches recipient’s guardians and caregivers to use planned treatment protocols to intervene with the recipient to reinforce, change and to maintain treatment progress.

  • Tracks and documents support recipient’s behaviors, skills, progress, and interventions and generates graphical data and reports for review and treatment decisions.

  • Collaborates with the support recipient’s team to assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans and monitor and evaluate their effectiveness.

  • Coordinates transportation for support recipients, which may include transporting in a personal vehicle, arranging public transportation, and/or through the use of vehicles assigned to the Agency.

  • Completes accurate, timely, and thorough documentation, including but not limited to, service notes, goal tracking, incident reports, and timecards, to be in compliance with Agency standards and Federal and State regulations

  • Works a variety of hours and locations and with a number of different support recipients, both children and adults.

  • Monitors support recipients’ health and reports health concerns to appropriate supervisor and/or parent/guardian. Assists with following medical orders and medication administration and documentation, as specified by support recipient’s medical professional(s). Accompanies and participates in appointments as requested.
