Apprentice Technicians perform all maintenance work as assigned by the Maintenance Planning and scheduling group and/or Leadership. Additionally, Apprentice Technicians are responsible for assisting with calls, assisting other maintenance partners, assisting with the operation of equipment and performing stockroom functions. Apprentice Technicians perform assignments using the appropriate parts and coordinates the schedule for the work with the Maintenance Planning and scheduling group and/or Leadership and Production Leadership as needed. The Apprentice Technician performs this work to maximize process reliability and minimize negative impacts on production schedules while increasing their skills and abilities.
Apprentice Technicians must demonstrate their aptitude and desire to continue training and education to qualify for a future Maintenance Technician position. This is accomplished by successfully passing the Ramsey Level 1 mechanical and electrical exam, an Interview with select Maintenance Partners/Leaders hands on demonstrated skills and in house training. All requirements must be met within one year of position start date.
This posting is a Targeted Selection Position. Partners meeting the standard requirements for the open position, who also meet the skills required, shall be interviewed and considered for the position.
STANDARD REQUIREMENTS: The partner must not be currently under any corrective action, have an overall Successful or better on their last annual Performance Assessment, have absentee rate under 3% and have a completed Ramsey test on file.
Position will be filled based highest Ramsey score as well as an interview process. After completion of the program, the partner will be assigned to an open Maintenance Technician position assigned by leader. If no openings exist, partner will remain on current shift or position until an opening occurs.
Night Shift (12-hour rotating shift; 6:00pm - 6:00am)

Pay Scale ($19.92-$24.40)
External applicants
Base pay is $19.92/hr plus $1.00/hr night shift premium.
