Credit Analyst at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

As a Credit Analyst you will conduct credit investigations and evaluate credit risk for new customers within our Architectural Coatings Business Unit. You will partner with internal teams as well as external customers. Use your strong analytical skills to join our team!

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate new and existing customers and exercise special financial arrangements, credit counseling and customer visitations.
• Monitor accounts which may include placing on hold, releasing orders, reviewing collection notes and aged balances and provide account adjustments.
• Prepare annual credit reviews of accounts in compliance with the Corporate Credit policy
• Team up with field sales and sales management on the status of accounts, coordinate investigation of UADs, pricing issues, required credit memos and other actions required based on investigation and analysis.
• Answer incoming phone calls from store personnel to resolve customer questions regarding credit limits, closed accounts, or accounts placed on credit hold

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business oriented field of study
• Minimum of 1 year of applicable experience; ideally working with financial documents such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow etc.
• Versed and knowledgeable in special financial instruments such as security agreements, third-party guarantees, promissory notes, letters of credit in order to perfect the appropriate financial arrangement (desired)
• Professional knowledge of SAP and various other credit software
• A collaborative spirit and excel in a team-environment.
