Job Summary:

EMC Mechanical Services is looking for a motivated and energetic Commercial Service Plumber to help build our plumbing service group. We are seeking a results-oriented, customer-focused Commercial Service Plumber to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide service and maintenance to customers in the central Virginia market.




• Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings.




• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative service, maintenance, inspections, and site surveys, as needed or requested by customers.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Residential or Commercial Service Plumbing experience preferred




• Journeyman card or equivalent experience required




• Backflow License is a plus.




• Commercial drain and sewer experience.

Job Requirements:

• This position is physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 pounds.




• This position allows the opportunity to work in many different environments, including but not limited to office space, retail establishments, and sometimes mechanical equipment rooms or precarious places, with exposure to noisy operating equipment.




• Unrestricted driver's license free of negative points according to VA DMV standards




• Aptitude for plumbing trade




• Neat, clean, and professional appearance




• Safety and customer service oriented




• Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
