CART ATTENDANT – NASHVILLE, TN - PART-TIME

BNA - Nashville International Airport

Hours: Approx. 2 to 6 days a week, working 25 - 30 hours per week, weekends and holidays may be required. 

HOURLY RATE - $13.00

BASIC JOB FUNCION:

As a Cart Attendant the top priority is the cleaning of carts, cart units, wheelchairs, strollers and massage chairs; including keeping them in working order. In addition, will collect loose luggage carts and return them to rental units. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Transfer carts from high return areas to high rental areas, ensure carts are available to customers.


• Provide excellent customer service to customers and passengers.


• Top priority is cleaning of all moving equipment; massage chairs, clean and fill candy stations.


• Complete small repairs with hand tools; replace decals, balance of carts and strollers


• Retrieve kid strollers from parking lots and around mall property.


• Maintain good communication and cooperation with other employees and facility management.


• Learn and practice safe work habits; covering self, co-workers, company property, and visitors.


• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum 6 months previous work experience


• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work individually and as part of a team

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to possibly 40 pounds waist to height


• Push and pull 75 -100 pounds to move up to 15 carts simultaneously.


• Walk and stand for duration of shift

 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

• Ability to get an airport badge is required
