Primary Function

Responsible for all Distribution Center operations and leading DC Managers, including, but not limited to, budgeting expenses, finished goods inventory storage and shipment, inventory record accuracy, providing appropriate staffing levels, personnel development, distribution operating efficiency and establishing and directing work guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading team at the facility,and establishing and ensuring goals and objectives are achieved.


• Establish processes and maintain focus on continuous improvement to gain efficiencies and drive costs out of our operations.


• Responsible for identifying and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to provide desired high customer service level.


• Achieve high inventory accuracy performance in all finished goods warehouse locations.


• Responsible for budgeting and controlling expenses in each of the Distribution Centers.


• Responsible for 98% complete and on-time customer order fulfillment.


• Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe, clean work environment and compliance to C-TPAT requirements.


• Responsible for developing all department procedures and ensuring procedure adherence.


• Responsible for establishing and monitoring performance metrics involved in company distribution functions.


• Responsible for determining and obtaining peripheral temporary warehouse space as required.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be a leader with excellent communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.


• Must be able to management multiple, complex projects simultaneously while meeting desired performance metrics.


• Highly proficient in distribution and warehousing computer-based models within integrated computer-based system.


• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Related Field


• 4-5 Years of Supervisory/Leadership Experience
