Job summary

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator performs administrative and functional responsibilities under general supervision. The TA Coordinator provides high quality coordination support to a team of HR and Talent Acquisition colleagues. Strong communication and follow up skills are required to interact and provide support to all levels of colleagues, including senior management, to answer questions, give guidance, and process requests, schedule interviews and debriefs, maintain candidate information, and lead candidate background screening processes.

Essential job functions and duties


  • Communicate with hiring managers, candidates, and HR team members

  • Schedule candidate interviews and debrief sessions

  • Process pre-employment background check, generate new hire forms, and coordinate logistics with new hires

  • Ensure new hire forms are completed, processed, and filed in the personnel file; complete I-9 forms for new hires and maintain I-9 records.

  • Maintain employee referral forms and obtain necessary approvals for payments to employees

  • Maintain open position status reports, generate new hire and onboarding metrics

  • Perform other duties as required based on business needs.

Minimum requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • Minimum of 2+ years of directly related work experience; or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.

  • Strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with consistently changing priorities.

  • Client Focus; strong sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication/listening skills.

  • Strong team player

  • Individual should be detail oriented and proactive to be able to follow-through on projects and workflow requests.

  • A positive work attitude and a talent for multitasking are required.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required.

  • Willingness to do whatever is needed; must be flexible and adaptable.

  • Prior HRIS experience including Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
