Functional Description: Support Individual Contributor

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

  • Basic understanding of general job aspects and limited understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.

  • Acquires job skills and learns the policies and procedures required to complete routine tasks.


Scope:

  • Work at this level requires following standardized, routine methods, under immediate supervision.

  • Assignments are routine in nature and expectation is to follow pre-established guidelines and procedures.

  • Contacts are mostly within own team and immediate supervisor.


Judgement:

  • Little responsibility for decisions as to method or selection of work.

  • Receives detailed instructions on routine work and new assignments.

  • Works under close supervision.


Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience and a High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.


Workplace Type:
  • The Workplace Type for this role is Non Desk. Based on the nature of your position you will be working onsite in your assigned work area. You will have space onsite for your personal items, but will not have an assigned desk. You should plan to be onsite based on your current shift schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review testing and inspection results and batch records associate to subassemblies, WIP products and finished goods.


  • Determines acceptance or rejection of products based on acceptance criteria in place.


  • Compile yield and rejection data/report on a regular basis.


  • Revise or generate procedures.



  • May generate trend and metrics reports.


  • Ensure compliance to all applicable regulations to FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.


  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
