Job Summary:

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for receiving and distributing incoming material as well as preparing material for outgoing shipments including packing and preparation of shipping paperwork.  Coordinator is also responsible for managing Inventory including stocking and maintaining accurate data in ERP system.

Job Responsibility:

• Receives and distributes incoming material


• Does basic inspection of incoming material


• Prepares material for outgoing shipments. Includes packing and preparation of shipping paperwork


• Coordinate LTL shipments using the best freight forwarder as well as all ground deliveries (FED EX, UPS, DHL, USPS) are met.


• Involved in the following inventory related tasks:  Stocking inventory, managing pulling material for orders including Serial Number information, stockroom maintenance, material retrieval for production, coordinating movement of consolidated material to sister divisions (pull, pack and ship), coordination of material movement to off-site material warehousing, coordination with off-site warehouse manager, assist with production work order picking, assist with pulling material for field replacements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Familiar with all Mil-spec packaging requirements, especially Mil-Std 129, Mil-Std 130 and FAA Clause 61


• Working computer skills knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & shipping systems software.


• Excellent verbal and written communications


• 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience.


• High school diploma or equivalency


• Must be a US Person as defined in applicable law

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in International shipments


• Knowledge of AES/ACE filings


• Knowledge of HTS classifications


• Familiarity with Export / Import documentation including INCO Terms

Physical Demands:

• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Special Position Requirements:

• Schedule: The expected work schedule is from 7:00am to 3:30pm.


• Physical Environment: Work typically includes operations on the facility loading dock, stockroom and warehouse
