Position Overview
The Sales Clerk position will provide clerical, project and customer support to a growing Sales Team.
Complete new customer account set-ups
Enter project quotes received from Concrete Sales team
Review each project entry for accuracy
Determine tax status of each project, as well as the tax zone
Customer Follow-up and Service
Prepare pay applications reports for purchases
Assist Sales personnel investigating invoicing and project pricing issues; provide copies of the necessary invoices and statements as required
Update pricing of new and existing mixes and materials as directed by the Sales team
Communicate with CSR’s regarding new projects; revisions; mixes and materials
Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
2 - 3 years of experience preferred.
Work Requirements
Must be proficient in Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet software, and Microsoft Word, word processing software. Ability to effectively communicate using e-mail. Working knowledge of order entry system.
Ability to perform basic math computations relating to product properties, and pricing. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Must be 18 years in age or older.
Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
Report to the workplace dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
