PRN - Resident Associate at Catholic Charities in Nottingham, Maryland

Job Description:

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking an experienced Resident Associate within Senior Communities.

Schedule: PRN/As Needed

Core Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including: dressing/undressing, bathing, personal hygiene, mobility devices


• Performs housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom, bed making, and bed changes, laundry


• Escorts residents to and from dining room, 


• Observes and reports changes in residents’ physical condition and cognitive/emotional status


• Monitors for environmental safety hazards


• Records incidents, errors and/or accidents


• Assists in a variety of tasks related to dining, including but not limited to: setting up and cleaning tables, serving meals, busing tables and escorting residents to and from dining room


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School diploma/ G.E.D.


• Prior experience is preferred.


• Must have the ability to read and write/print legibly, follow oral and written directions, and maintain confidentiality required.


• Must be customer service oriented, and have the ability and willingness to work effectively with a culturally diverse frail, elderly population


• Work flexible hours as needed to meet resident care needs
